CHAIR VIC KOHRING convened the meeting of the House Special
Committee on Oil and Gas at 3:23 p.m. Representatives Kohring,
Chenault, Rokeberg, Fate, and Crawford were present at the call
to order. Representatives McGuire and Kerttula arrived as the
meeting was in progress.
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION
TOM IRWIN, Commissioner, Department of Natural Resources, made
opening remarks and gave a brief overview regarding the
department's goals, missions, and objectives.
MARK MYERS, Director, Division of Oil & Gas, Department of
Natural Resources, presented a slide overview of the division
[hard copy in packets] and answered members' questions.

The committee took no action.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the committee, the House
Special Committee on Oil and Gas meeting was adjourned at
4:35 p.m.
